Property buyers beware, Property seller is king

My wife and I purchased a property, but we were met with great hostility. All our requests were shot down and the whole transaction was arranged to favour the seller. When we dug in our heels a little we were met with great unprofessionalism, to quote but a single line from an email we received (after all our requests were shot down) "Mr X also has the interest of his little girl to consider, so please don't just refuse my proposal just because you want to get your way". All we wanted was for transfer to be pushed out so that the seller could stay on in the property and then nobody would be in an occupational rent situation. This was denied. Then we requested (as was our every right as per offer to purchase) to take immediate occuptaion as we had tenants moving in to our property at the time. This was met with great hostility. In the end the sellers had to sacrifice everything they requested so that the buyers could get everything they wanted. Everything Jooste Labuschagne Inc does is geared towards pleasing the seller and his agent, even though it is the buyer that pays the hefty bill.
