I recently purchased a property from Harcourts (Marco Higino) and when we took transfer of the property we were really dissapointed with the state of the property as this was not maintained for the past three months. The gardens and pool was untidy and when we confronted Marco about this he said that this is now our responsibility to clean up as we are the new owners. However we had reached an agreement with the seller and agent that the property will be maintained right up to transfer of the property and this was not done. We now have unexpceted cost in excess of thousands to clean up the mess. Also when we signed the offer we wanted to add this clause to the offer and Marco Higino said that we shoudnt do that as the owner is a personal freind of his and he will maintain the property we should take his word for it. All this agent was interested in was taken items from the house that the seller and ourselves do not want. On transfer we only received one set of keys and the other set was still with the owner. Took the owner a whole week to send the keys to the agent and he had a whole week to access the property even thought he was not the registered owner.poor service
