I studied through the Institute of Commerce and Administration for 4 years, from 1989 to 1992. Tygerberg College is the only institution that provides classes in this qualification, but it is not registered with SAQA. Therefore, for the benefit of having qualifications to work abroad, it is not recognized. This is unacceptable and not disclosed to its students.

Please see below the process of applying for the Authentication Letter of your Senior Certificate. You will need to make a payment to Umalusi and then send certified copies of your ID document or passport, as well as your certificate (not older than 3 months), to verification@umalusi.org.za with "Authentication for the DIRCO" in the subject line. Fees vary from year to year. The applicable fees can be requested from Umalusi by sending an e-mail to verification@umalusi.org.za or contacting them at Tel: 0123491510.
