Netflorist cannot afford to not delive

I decided to use Netflorist to deliver flowers to my wife on Valentines Day this year. I specifically chose the more expensive option to ensure that the flowers and add-on gift (soft toy) would arrive on the 14th February, and when placing the order clearly stated that the delivery needed to be done before 12h00 as she was a teacher at a primary school.By 13h00 today the flowers had not arrived and I duly contacted NetFlorist to establish what was going on to which I was told that there was no way to establish when the delivery would be made and it could be delivered by 7pm!

Luckily my wife was working a bit later today but by 15h00 I finally told her to go home. I just got an email from Netflorist apologising that they made had a system error and woudn't be delivering the add-on gift together with the flowers today and offered me a R 150 voucher on my next purchase as an apology. While I appreciate the gesture, the reality is that I won't ever be making use of their services again.

I can't actually comprehend how a company such as Netflorist cannot deliver on it's promises especially on one of the most importantly celebrated (and loved) days of the year.

Epic fail...
