Never received item bought and paid for in full

I have paid for an item bought from vintage treasures and paid for it immediately into the bidorbuy account. This was in March. I made sure that vintage treasures has a rating of 98% plus - trusting the bidorbuy system of mutual evaluation. I did not receive any tracking number. After numerous attempt to get the number from the supplier, I asked for help from bidorbuy. After they just forwarded my email asking for help in getting the tracking number form the supplier, they did not follow up on it. After 3 separate phone calls to their call centre talking to very unhelpful people who promised to get back to me I still have not received the goods. The last time I asked to get my money back. The operator promised to email me with particulars and a reference number. I am still waiting for it 4 weeks later. It was such a unpleasant experience, I am horrified that my worse fears about buying online from a supposedly trustworthy supplier has been realised. Not a company that I will do business with again in future. Even with clear indication that if a bid is closed on you it is regarded as a legal contract, it does not seem to work towards bidorbuy only towards the bidder.
