I purchased an item on BidorBuy at the end of October and paid R7500 for it. After weeks of non-delivery, and inability to contact the seller via the given email (fake) and cellphone number (again fake - which means it wasn't verified in any way by BidorBuy), I took steps in hiring someone to find out the sellers contact details, whereby then I got hold of him, only to find out his account was hacked into by someone at his old workplace. Now both of us want to know who this person is committing the, and the easiest way would be for BidorBuy, to let us know the information of the banking details or even the name given on the banking details, for us to know who the is. After numerous attempts, and even the original account holder going to the BidorBuy offices to request their help and explain the situation, BidorBuy could only say that they can't help and basically aren't interested. WHY can't the original owner of the account not get the information?!? It's his account!! We've opened a case with the SAPS, BUT their feedback is they can't do the follow-up because they're "short of staff and can't follow-up every case otherwise they can't get their work done".
