Kneebrace

I was in an accident in 2008 and my right knee and arm was crushed. They fix my knee temporarily with screws and plates and concentrated on my arm that took two years to fix. When my arm was fixed and stable I wanted to fix my knee but I got heart failure. I got a pacemaker and due to that the doctors decided against any operations because my heart was too weak to withstand any operations. They told me to get a custom made knee brace. I walk with crutches and use a wheelchair. The medical aid will pay for the custom made knee brace from my day to day limit which cost more than my day to day limit. Then they asked me to send a motivational letter together with a quote which I did send. After two weeks they declined the whole matter. After several calls to the medical aid I did not get any answer for why they declined the matter. I really need this knee brace because I cannot walk without it. Since the accident I am lying in bed and now that I have a chance to go back to work I cannot because I cannot afford the brace out of my own pocket.
