Lapsed and trying to reinstate

On the 22/12/2012 i received a letter from liberty stating that my policy has lapsed and that i would need to reinstate the policy in 6 months if i still wanted to continue with the policy. I called the call centre on numerous occasions to get this reinstated. i was asked to send the documents to their fax numbers which i ddi with no response: dates the docs were sent : 09/02/2012 to 086 242 8596 at 14h02, then again on the 22/03/2013 to 0114082767 at 10h07. i then sent my old ID and new ID copies to 0114082767 on the 26/03/2013 at 09h00 as my name has changed
still no feedback on how far the reinstatement is.
Are use trying to wait for the 6 months to lapse aswell?
