I am a very angry customer as I was told that in order to reinstate my policy which lapsed I must pay outstanding amount in order for me to reinstate it, and it was never explained that I will have to wait 6 months, which could have given me an option to start a new policy and not pay any outstanding amount. After giving in all the documents for the claim on the 11th/12/2013 and being told that I have to wait for 48 hours to receive the funds, I then received an sms today to say that the policy is being assessed and I called in to find out what it means, your consultant said it being processed and that was early this morning. I had to call in again during the course of the day to find out what is taking so long, I was told that a lady in charge of my documents is still processing it. I than called again and was told that it was declined due to the waiting period I had to wait 6 months after reinstating it. This is very upseting because that was not explained when I enquired about reinstating it. For big companies like avbob you wouldn't expect such service and they always make promises on TV and everywhere but fail to deliver. I advise everyone to think twice before considering.
