I FAXED THROUGH A FORM REQUESTING AN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER FOR MYU DAUGHTER TO HAVE HER TONSILS REMOVED ON 26 MARCH 2013. ON FRIDAY 05/04/2013, I PHONED THE MEDICAL AID (CALL CENTRE) THEY ADVISED THAT THEY AWAIT CLINICAL INFORMATION FROM THE DOCTORS ROOMS. I PHONED THE DOCTORS ROOMS THEY ADVISED THAT THEY REQUIRE A LETTER FROM THE MEDICAL AID REQUESTING THE INFORMATION. I PHONED THE MEDICAL AID AGAIN, I GAVE THEM THE FAX NUMBER - THEY SAID THEY FAXED IT THROUGH. ON MONDAY 08/04/2013 I PHONED THE MEDICAL AID TO SEE IF THEY GOT THE INFORMATION FROM THE DOCTORS OFFICE, THEY ADVISED NO. I PHONED THE DOCTORS ROOMS, THEY HAVENT RECEIVED ANYTHING FROM THE MEDICAL AID. I PHONED THE CALL CENTRE AGAIN, ASKING THEM TO SEND IT TO ME, I WILL MAKE SURE THE DOCTORS ROOMS GOT IT. 15 MINUTES LATER AND I STILL HAVENT RECEIVED IT!!! WHY DO I PAY EVERY MONTH, TO PHONE AROUND AND DO THEIR WORK FOR THEM? IF THEY WANT THE INFORMATION, WHY DONT THEY MAKE SURE THEY GET IT. EACH CALL CENTRE AGENT WILL BE TELLING ME A DIFFRENT STORY, WHAT THE??? IF MY DAUGHTER GETS TONSILITIS BEFORE SHE GETS IT REMOVED I WILL TAKE IT FURTHER... I AM REALLY DISSAPOINTED IN THE WAY THEY HANDLE THIS...
