False Advertising & Rude Staff

On the Spec Saver website, they have this wonderful advertisement that if you child is 6 - 12 years old your child can get a free frame, eye test and lenses. They should make it clear that if your child is 12 years and 2 months old YOU DO NOT QUALIFY! I called Spec Savers Clearwater Mall this morning to make an appointment for my son, however, the lady that answered the phone was very rude when I enquired about this promotion. First she asked me what is the age of my child, she first said yes he does qualify. She then asked me to hold on. After a few minutes she came back to me and said no, he does not qualify. Which is it now? But the arrogant way she was speaking to me was really upsetting. Even though I was about to make a appointment anyways, even though he doesn't qualify for the promotion, I decided not to, purely because of the way she was speaking to a potential client. I then called Spec Savers Cresta and was assisted by the lovely lady who answered the phone. I will be taking my child to Spec Savers Cresta who knows a thing or two about customer service.
