UNAUTHORISED DEBITORDER DEDUCTION

I have been struggling with Discovery for the last week regarding a refund that must be made to us due to unauthorised monthly installment - SHOULD BE R 669.00 DEDUCTED R 2 123.00 . We are paying for my mother in law and the debit order is on our name, we were NOT informed by them that my mother in law didn't update her yearly income verification and by the way she is a state pensioner and gets the same money every month every year. They deducted the money I inform them of their mistake and I submit all the relevant documents to them on Sunday already, but no word from Discovery when we will be refunded. I have been on the telephone with them for 56 min now I must update their web page with our banking details because they can not do an EFT - for the last 2 hours their web page are off line and in the mean time I must wait for them. I got bad attitude from their consultants and after all most an hour of my airtime I got no where. I just want to know who gave the them the right to deduct money with out my husband signature? I cant understand why cant they use the debit order account number and refund the owed amount back to us?
