5 weeks is not 3-4 days... and still waiting

I submitted a claim which was not paid. I have escalated the matter to a senior consultant to resolve, and was emailed on 22 february to say it would be looked into, and would be receiving feedback within 3-4 days. I have subsequently called five times to query it, and to date still have had no response. Is this how discovery fattens its bottom line?
