Misleading Suppliers

Hi, I am a new customer to Discovery Insure and the service was great and the broker gave me professional service.
I was told to visit Tiger Wheel and Tyre for a checkup of my car. (I went to Menlyn branch) The rear tyres were slightly worn out and just did not make the test. The person at TWT told me that they can fit the tyres and will give me Vitality Drive discount of R200. Great because I do not know the price of tyres. I asked him to give me a quote and because a friend warned me I went to a place around the corner ( -300m) and got the same tyres for the same (discounted price of TWT) without any discount, Vitality, negotiation, etc. Do these people really inflate the price in order to give us Vitality Discount?
Needless to say I bought the tyres at the other place and it leaves a sour taste in my mouth to go back to TWT and pay R95 AGAIN to check my car. R95 is not the issue but after the above story I think that it is a bit of a rip off to charge a client to tick a few boxes on a piece of paper. Now they will get their R200 from me in any case.
Please tell your service providers not to cheat your Vitality members.
