NO CLAIM PAYMENT for WEEKS

My wife went in for dental surgery on the 22nd of Feb 2013. After a week of no payment I phoned Discovery to find out what the problem was. I spoke to Dominique in the Durban call centre. She said the doctors did not give the Place of Service number to be able to claim from the "in hospital benefit" whereas they now claim from the "out-of-hospital" which do not have sufficient funds. The private day-care clinic bill was covered 100%. Dominique logged a call regarding the non-payment and followed up with all three doctors to get the correct P.O.S numbers. After another week of no payment I had to phone again. This time the reason for non-payment is that they have a technical issue with the Retail medical scheme and I have to wait until this is resolved. Today 20th of March I phoned again and spoke to Treasure in the Cape Town call centre. He logged another enquiry and this might take another 2 days before payment might take place. This is utterly ridiculous as the doctors are asking me to pay the outstanding amounts because Discovery is taking too long. My last ref nr was 2773471183. I expect nothing less from a Top40 listed company for this matter to be resolved ASAP!!
