Reading the other reports about poor service delivery at King Edward makes me realise that we are all experiencing the same difficulties with the public health system, and in particular, the King Edward. My fiance has to go for a biopsy and she is crying with fear.. not because of the procedure but because of the possiblity that the staff might make a life threatening mistake!!

At what point has this hospital changed from a place to find comfort in treatment to a house of horror?

Pray that people won't die before they get treatment due to the bereaucratic lines caused through the absence of a functional filing system... Pray that you don't contract a different illness due to the lack of cleanliness... Pray that you will be better... Pray that leads you to staff that wants to help because that's why they're there.

We cannot complain about the system there, because it has broken down to a nonexistant platform filled with unhappy, sick and dying human beings on which the system has given up before they came in...
