On the morning of 27 Feb 2013 I received an sms from Lancet notifying me my account (ref V0858532) had been set aside to be handed over to ITC for collection & that I should phone if I wanted to avoid further costs. I was infuriated as I have spent alot of money over the past year at Lancet which had been paid & now I was being warned that I would be listed for only 247.80 outstanding (despite the fact that I have been going to a branch on a monthly basis for the last 8 months or so). I immediately phoned (but did not get the name of the consultant I angrily spoke to). During our conversation the consultant said that she would send me the detail of the outstanding account and confirmed my email address with me. I then said that I wanted to settle the account immediately with a credit card but I was told this could not be done-she would take my details and get someone to phone me later. I informed her that that was not good enough and that if I wanted to pay as requested I should be able to immediately. The consultant said she needed to find out if this was possible and put me on hold. We were cut off. To date I have not received a call or anything via email!
