My mum is a pensioner. She's with discovery for 3 years now. They wated prrof that she is a pensioner. They sent a formfor us to fill in. Not clear at all. How do they expect an old lady with minimal education to fill these rediculous forms in. Sent the dics last year November. They sis not ask for anything else. She has only one income which is pension. They asked for proof. We sent pension letter. The form only asks for back statements if a person is employed. Dumb form. They tried once to call her for ack statements on Feb 2013 which is no outstanding. My mum didnt answer. They didnt follow up and hiked he premium up. What is this? This is completely against the CPA. Its illegal to deduct premiums without speaking to the client first. She did not sing documents for this premium. I will take this to financial ombud. I wants answers to the ff:
- why were we not told about the premium hike prior to it being hiked?
- why was a pensioner who is fully techinoligcally intuned only called ONCE for the hike?
- why did discovery not try again?
- how is this nonsense gong to be resolved.

Disgusted. Utterly, truely disgusted at how discvery does not care about the elderly...
