THE WORST SERVICE FROM A HOSPITAL EVER

On 14th February 2013 my GF was told to book heself into hospital as she was a previous encephalitis patient - & had a chronic migraine for almost 3 weeks solid. We suspected that it might be returning so we decided to go to Wilgeheuwel Hospital, as the specialst was based there. We wen't to casualty as it was 20h30pm already & admissions was closed. We got an authorisation number from Discovery (which covered us for 24 hours hospital stay - until such time as a diagnosis could be determined by the specialist). We got settled at about 10h30pm (2 hours later) - & the specialist mentioned that he wanted to do an MRI the next day, but could only see us in the early evening. At 10h15am (10 hours later) the admin lady comes in says, "sorry your time is up & you need to leave the hospital", we explain we waiting for the specialist to come later & we not leaving as we have 24 hours cover. She says, "Good Luck with that"!!! After that was a roller-coaster ride & trauma, as I didn't know if I could stay or go, in my ill condition. According to Discovery Wilgeheuwel charges a full half day if you come in after hours!! None of this was explained by admissions! That is in my eyes!!!
