I am at my wits end with Fedhealth and actively looking at other medical aid schemes, their inability to manage one persons account scares me and their call centre agents know nothing about product knowledge.
We joined Fedhealth in 2009 on a hospital plan, in Feb of 2012 reapplied for upgrade, this was only carried out in August!
I have submitted claims and am now told we are not active, I get a call saying sorry we made a mistake the agent was looking at your old number and plan- we were never given a new number! I then get told unless I can send off proof of fax with date of claims they now stale (even tho call recording says claims were sent in end Jan)
In 2weeks I give birth and get told by my gynaes office yesterday afternoon, after being on the phone ALLmorning with Fedhealth, that I have no funds in my acc as we are on a hospital plan!! I refuse to deal with CS agents now, I want a manager to sort this or am canceling. How is it that my premium changed to that of full med aid cover but your system and benefits haven't updated??? 7 months later? Your admin and service to paying customers is DISGUSTING.
