I recently booked in at the hyyat regency rosebank for my wifes birthday normal check in is 2pm on arrival at 4:30 pm my room was not ready was asked to wait (no problem) while waiting in the only seating area my pregnant wife was asked to leave as she was eating an ice cream 1 and half hours later finally got my room which the carpets where wet!! 7:30 in the morning was woken up by the cleaners phoned down to complain nothing had to get out of bed to tell the cleaners it's 8 o clock and that I'm trying to sleep!! Booked a package at the spa which was suppose to be a special only received half the treatment complained and then only received the balance!! on check out was charged for the normal spa treatment and not the special was charged for breakfast which was suppose to be included in the rate
Only after making a noise did the manage rectify the billing issue
The managers response was we very busy due to the afcon final
So if you busy your customers get terrible service???
Is this the service from a 5 star hotel???
