I booked a standard hotel room in May after purchasing a discounted rate on groupon, on emailing a request for room to accomadate kids and a refurbished room etc. I was not directly explained how room confirmation works which in this case was a day before, after several emails later and no direct answer, we booked in Friday 9th. access card was given and explanation of restuarants etc at bookin The room allocated had no bar fridge, we could not access wifi as advertised and were told there are no refurbished standard rooms, and no choice was offered to upgrade. Sat 10th we shared a table booked on a friends room number were also staying the weekend on the same discounted rate, their room had a bar fridge. Sunday breakfast we went to same buffet breakfast, staff member enquired our room number, and politely told us the dining area is filling up and we could have breakfast at La vigna instead and hurriedly escorted us there. The buffet area was not full or even filling up at around 9h20am. my friend entered buffet area after us and were offered seating in the adjacent room, and returning to get our luggage at 9H45 our access card was denied.
