Dentist wants money no service rendered: I feel victimised?

I used the services of the Dentist here in Swellendam, Western Cape, Drs Bouwer & Winterbach then I made a follow up appointment. The receptionist phoned me a few days before the appointment and I told her I don't think that I will be able to make it. Then she phoned again another time so I said I'm sure that I will make it.

Then a few weeks later they send me a letter that I owe them money because I didn't because I didn't come in for the appointment. Then they send more letters that I owe them money recently they send me a Lawyers letter from Powell Kelly Veldman (083 3839 700).

I think they just want money from poor people to serve their rich n lavish life style.
