Changed Designated service provider without notice

After being a member of Momentum health since 2011, I am utterly disappointed in their service.

Last year before I needed to go to the dentist, I phoned the agents up and asked who the Designated service provider is. I made an appointment with the dentist and everything was covered. I made an appointment this year in March with the same service provider and specifically asked them if they still form part of the Momentum network and was informed that they still were. The dentist rooms assured me that everything should be paid and would let me know if there was a Prolem. Last month I received an account that was not paid for from the dentist as Momentum did not pay the claim. They informed me this was because the dentist is no longer a designated provider from Dec 2012. The correspondence that they sent out did not specify that a member should see the list of providers as it has changed. The wording on the correspondence is very ambigious. I feel that Momentum should inform members (just a short email) everytime they change the service providers. Now I am stuck with an unpaid account. I would have gone to another provider was I aware that the dentist was not a provider anymore.
