I am disgusted with the service received from Bonitas. I have been battling with them for the entire 2013 regarding payments. Due to the lack of service, I have cancelled my membership and moved to Discovery Health. My membership was cancelled 30/11/2013. I sent an email stating that I have overpaid and hence a credit of R3500 is due to me. As per the email correspondence from Lusanda Rilityana in the Finance Division: Dear Mrs W Martin,
Thank you for the email dated 18/12/2013.
We sincerely apologize for the delay in responding to your query.
Attached is the reconciliation statement showing your contributions and payments thereof. Kindly note that the payment dated 29/07/2013 was allocated to August 2013 contribution and no payment was received in August 2013; hence there is an arrear amount of R3, 489. The total outstanding indicated on the reconciliation statement includes the January 2014 contribution of R3, 867.
