When i started taking the ARVs in 2009 my bra size was 32B . In 2011 i complained to my GP about the abnormal growth in my breast and my treatment was changed.By June last year i had changed my bra size twice in one year. My breast has grown from 32B to 36E . This is causing me back and shoulder pain. Most morning i wake feeling very tired and have constant headaches from lack of sleeping properly. I take pain killers daily and this is not good for my health as my immune sytem is already compromised. My GP suggested that breast reduction will be the only option has this will reduce the pains on my back and shoulders. The motival lette has been sent and I was told the breast reduction is an exclusion and this is not for cosmetic reasons. My treatment has been changed by AFA but this does not solve my problem. My breast are too heavy for me and medshield is turning a blind eye. I dont know what to do anymore im thinking of complaining to the health minister we are given medication only to find out they causing side effects this is frustrating im stressed.
