I am so frustrated with Discovery as they have not provided me with feedback (positive or negative) on the request for Chemo treatment for my 18 year old daughter since the request was send to them on 5 Aug by our Neurologist. When I spoke to the call centre (after several other times) this afternoon a supervisor told me there is no-one more senior in Discovery I can speak to escalate this request.

It seems Discovery allow an external body to decide whether they should allow for certain treatments or not and it seems they have no SLA with this external body to provide feedback on the review (no commitment to have feedback within 7 days or even longer I was told several times by Discovery).

We must face the reality of living with a sick child and seeing her suffer every day while some "external medical review forum" person make up his/her mind with no commitment to do that within any time frame.

Is that is how a company should treat their clients??
