Shocking treatment

In September 2013 I had to retire from my company due to my age. I was offered a contract to continue in the same position for another year - Due to an oversite on both my emplyer and myself my medical aid was terminated and not re instated. I found out that I had to apply as an independant person and not through the company. This is when the nightmare began - I am now informed I have to pay 50% premium on my premiums and have a 30 day waiting period for any claims - I can not understand this abnd think this is digusting tratment considering I have been with Discovery for the last 12 years. Disgusting tratment of older persons.
