Incompetent and feeding clients incorrect info

We are on a hospital plan and last year we called the medical aid wanting to change our plan to allow day-to-day benefits and we were told we must call again and change it in 2014. We just did and now they are refusing to change it saying the cut off date was December 31 2013. I want to know this, why and mislead clients and not keep constant communication with clients, It seems as though Discovery is abusing its status of being our first medical choice. We actually considering cancelling the scheme and join another one Ive heard good things about Bonitas and Medihelp, as for this scheme they can go and continue scamming people Ill advice my friends and family about choosing discovery. Im disappointed to say the least. Its a shame Ive tried speaking to those brainless and un-solutionalised consultants, can I atleast get some sort of solution from all of this, frankly speaking we are tired of this nonsense.
