I cannot upgrade my Medical Aid

After bad advise from an Agent sometime in 2012/3 i ended up changing my plan to a Hospital plan, which meant i lost my day to day doctors' visits which negatively affected me since i have a sickly child.
October or so last year i called them several times to change my plan to a normal medical aid not a hospital plan. No one came back to me, only for me to find that a letter was sent advising me that the cutoff date has way passed.
Now am stuck for another year with a hospital plan. Also when i ask them to terminate my medical so that i can find a medical aid to cover my needs, they say its gona be active only by march.
I cannot continue paying R2300 for benefits i hardly use.
