DR, NO... DON'T GO TO HIM

On Friday I cracked my tooth on a popcorn kernel. I'm instructed to lay back after being interrupted half way through my explanation.. If I say I was in that chair for 15 mins I'd be lying, it was more like 8 mins. I had cracked my tooth lengthwise and needed urgent repair, which is what I had informed his receptionist the day before when I made my appointment. He injected my gum and the roof of my mouth... ignored my questions an and yanked out the shard that had fractured. He proceeded to clean and fill the tooth in 4 mins flat and then told me to have the tooth replaced or filled next year when I make an app to clean my teeth. I actually didn't understand what his instructions were as he spoke abruptly and I was a bit shocked, surely he'd say this is temporary and we'll fix it in two weeks or whatever... NOTHING! Maybe CPT dentists are different to KNZ dentists??? I'm sure I'd need some guidance as to when I should be back to fix my still throbbing tooth. The "repair" he did is not even neat... the bulge of what ever he used to cover the fracture is overlapping my gum... surely that's not correct??? I"ll find a kinder sadist to fix his mess.
