Panorama Dental Clinic poor service

I visited Panorama Dental Clinic on the 2nd of Jan as one of my teeth broke during the holidays It's not my normal dentist. The dentist who saw me didn't do anything to the tooth, he only took an x-ray & said that they would come back to me the next week with a quotation on what they were going to do.

While I was in the chair the receptionist came in & told him that another person had called in & was in pain with a tooth that needed some work. He looked at his watch & said that he could give the guy tablets but he wasn't going to see him. I was in the dentists chair for about 5 minutes.

Three weeks have gone by & I have not received a quote or any contact. They have, in the meantime, billed my medical aid & been paid.

When I phoned on the 23rd asking why I'd received no feedback I got several excuses from the fact that the particular Dentist had left the practice (why wasn't his work handed over to someone else) and that they had not received their new schedules so could not quote.

I feel that they just want people through the door so that they can claim from medical aids.

I am shocked and appalled at their level of service and lack of dedication to patients.
