Guano Caves
Seems like a nice place but the admin is pathetic

So we book a weekend in October to go camping at Guano Caves but on short notice we can't make it. I asked if we can go there on another weekend, but the admin guru Ansie said no - you forfeit your R180 deposit. So I we book to go camping over the Christmas period whereby I request that the deposit is used toward the cost - the guru said once again No - can't be done due to the fact that we cancelled the original weekend. I paid R600 deposit for the 5 days over the Christmas period. One month before the arrival date (23 December) I send a mail to cancel due to a other plans. No response form the admin guru... today is the 26th of November. I'm just wondering if the owner of this establishment knows how his admin staff is corresponding to the public and what effect it has on their business and reputation.
I surely going to forfeit the R600 as well... is that fair..cancelling 30 days before you arrive? What seems to be a nice place from their website... is surely not the experience I had dealing with Ansie van der Westhuizen!
