Ridiculous Terms

Paid R2500 to book accomodation for Comrades weekend, now as we are no longer running we no longer need the accomodation. So i asked for a refund and they say "because i have not given them at least 30 days warning they will keep the entire deposit and i FORFEIT all my funds!! "

Now that is just ridiculous, what if i had paid all my funds and broken my leg and could not run and i had booked my accomodation?

I would expect some sort of penalty or admin fee, but to forfeit the entire deposit borders on ridiculous!!!

I want my money back please!!!
