It started when wanting to apply for a unit that we were interested in to rent. When I contacted the agent to ask questions about certain clauses in the contract, she told me that we are second in line for the unit as one application was already approved. Was also told that they have an over R600 admin fee when I was asking what the one admin fee was for the deposit saver (I to this day still do not know what a deposit saver is). really??? The contract states NOTHING about this admin fee, and the excuse? They don't put amounts on the contract, so what about the deposit saver admin fee amount? Got an sms later to say that the managers had gone home so would be told the next day if we were approved. Was emailed the next day to get told that we were approved and but we are now third in line and the agent hinting for us to cancel for that unit as other people are going to take it. Cancel this first property that we so badly wanted. I have now also emailed TWICE about other properties that I have enquiries about, and to this day not even one answer. How do you stay in business with service like this? Or should I say lack of it?
