None payment for X-rays

The medical aid didn't pay for services rendered to me in April 2013. When I enquired on the 18th October I was told that it was an error on their side, they will pay the supplier. They then told the supplier that they couldn't pay because the claim was more than 4 months old. I phone them today being the 18th November and was told that the Dr who attended to me & sent me for X-rays was not a GP, they would need a motivation letter from the Dr.
