My family is on the Custom plan with MotoHealth, which is the DSP option using the CareCross Network. We have been on this plan for 18 months or so and the main reason for this choice is because we have 2 young kids and being able to go to the Doctor with them without having to fork out each time appealed to us. on 3 occasions, I have been told by the GP that we would need to see a specialist. I followed procedure, called in for a "specialist referral", obtained reference and authorisation numbers for each one, yet nothing has been paid. over R4000 that I had to pay. to make it worse, I was forced to use specialists out of our area that we didn't know. on one occasion when I quieried the non-payment, I was told that no authorisation was given. I STILL HAVE THE NUMBER WRITTEN IN MY DIARY!!! the latest, and final straw was in September when we needed to go to the dentist. I called in, answered 4 million questions to verify who I am. I requested the names of dentists available to us and promptly made an appointment with Dr . a month later the claim was rejected so I called in to be told that there is no recording of my query, only one of my wife asking about a certain benefit.
