I have been receiving excellent service from Vitality up until recently.

On 23 September 2013 I had purchased Adidas products from 2 different TotalSports stores. At the time there was also a Virgin Active 20% discount available on Adidas products. Without any hassle I received the Virgin Active discount from the one store as well as the HealthyGear cash back.

I noticed that I had not received a cash back for the purchase from the other store. I had initially contacted Vitality on 10 October 2013 explaining that the cashier at the store did not know how to scan my HealthyGear card and emailed the receipt for the purchase. I have since received 5 calls from Vitality. The third call to confirm that everything was sorted and I will receive my cash back shortly.

However, on 11 November 2013 I receive a call from the senior to the person I initially spoke to, to explain that the HealthyGear cash back can not be used in conjunction with a discount.

Really? Is this in some very fine print somewhere? Everyone I know that had used the discount got their cash back as well, including myself (from another store on the very same day). Where does this condition suddenly appear from?
