Unpaid account from 2012?

I went to a optometrist last year and from there i had selected the pair of glasses, in turn i phoned Bonitas to confirm if i had enough left in the budget for the glasses after receiving a verbal confirmation i took the glasses, now almost 12 months down the line i am handed over to a credit company for not paying R2400 in regards to this matter, previously i was with WCMAS and they where the best my company forced me to take Bonitas reassuring me that they are a good medical aide (i was and still am deeply dissapointed with their service)
