Useless at covering payments!

I'm seriously fed up! In March 2013 I went to the optometrist to get my eyes checked as i experienced discomfort when using the computer and reading. (Please note that I work in front of the PC the whole day) I also previously wore glasses. After the optometrist and I did first check what the amount would be that the medical aid covers, which is/was R550. I had a pro-data amount of - R1000 that i had to pay in. i received a message a few months ago which stated that i owed the optometrist (Rene Vrey Optometrist) R550. I got in contact with them and they said it was a fault on their side and that I should ignore it. On Friday 23 August 2013 I received yet another text message saying that i owe them money, which i got in contact with them again. The medical Aid refuses to pay the R550 amount because they say I DON'T NEED GLASSES. Even though a Motivation letter was send through explaining why I need the glasses. Why would the optometrist give me glasses if I don't need it? My right eye is very bad, and it sates so in the letter. Its a few months later and I'm not even with them anymore and I still get bills to pay, I've been coughing and paying but enough is enough!!!
