Couldn't Care about anything but the money

I had the unfortunate experience of having to race my father to Crompton Hospital on Sunday Morning.
I must say your front end staff, Nurses and receptionists were brilliant and efficient.
Unfortunately though Discovery Medical aid was offline and even though the trauma doctor on call tried to book him in they could not get authorization.
The young Indian Lady in the front tried to help me going so far as to getting the Financial Manager Dianne on the line for me to speak to.
She stated that they would book him in but if they didn't get authorization by the evening they would transfer him if I did not pay a deposit of R4000 rand.
I tried to reason with her as I did not have the deposit and pointed out that he had been to the hospital before.
My mother has just earlier this year been at Westville hospital (another Life hospital) for almost 6 weeks.
I understand the group is a business and has its rules.
I asked her if surely knowing the medical aid is offline they could make an exception as if there doctor was booking my father in surely they would get the authori
