Shocked, Disappointed - Discovery not paying back

I cannot believe that I have to motivate via a signed letter to get my money back from Discovery after 1 and a half years of faithfully paying for my medical aid from which I have never made any major claims and just bought medicine over the counted. I am shocked that I now have to beg just to get such a small portion of my money compared to the profit discovery has made on my account. They tell me I have to wait for five months and said I must write a letter to motivate for an urgent release of these funds of which I did but still I have not be paid. I am not sure if I ever want to go back to Discovery; even my colleagues are shocked and there are so many of us who have been with Discovery for a while.
