HARASSMENT AND CONTRAVENTION OF EXPRESSION RIGHTS

I Zanele Mpevu arrived at Soweto Marie Stopes at 10:25am on Thursday 11 July 2013 to request the services of terminating the pregnancy and I was registered at 11:10 for the services by a front line receptionist by completing a small piece of form for my details such as name, address contact #. The was no counselling done, no terms and conditions of the services to be rendered read to me, they are not even written on that small receipt of your details or informed verbally by the reception lady or any other person at Marie Stopes Clinic Soweto yesterday. There is also none of the service standards, policy of the clinic or any other information that might assist the women when entering the clinic.

There in that room, the lady never introduced herself, she started confirming my details from that small receipt and my invoice which was printed out by the front reception lady. The lady also started asking questions such as any current medical conditions, and if I have attempted to take anything to abort the pregnancy before coming to Marie Stopes Clinic in Soweto. I informed her that I have bought some herbal medication from the pharmacy. MARIE STOPES TOOK MY MONEY & REFUSED ME HELP.
