I'm at my wits end with Discovery, their service is absolutely pathetic,

We joined earlier this year through my new employer and were so glad and relieved that we eventually joined a great medical aid and according to what we heard the best in South Africa... so we thought...

it all started one night, i had to hurry my wife to hospital for what we thought was an emergency, she was dehidrating and could not keep anything inside, i took her to the hospital but they did not admit her, thus our savings all used up in one go.

Next the bills kept coming in and i'm no responsible for payment.

According to them, once the funds are exhausted there are two extra visits to the gp allowed per member, discovery once again did not pay,

now my wife is pregnant, i'm responsible for the bills even though their brochure states they pay for the gynae. where does this leave me

ARE THEY EVER GOING TO PAY FOR ANYTHING OR ARE THEY JUST RIPPING US OFF

if this is not resolved they will lose me as a customer, we cant pay almost 3000 pm and still pay all doctors and other expenses ourselves, where does our money go

SHAME ON YOU DISCOVERY
