I used Metropolis for the first time in April this year and they said they would send me the account (as I'm a private patient). End of August I get the account which was printed on 16/08 showing the account is 120 days overdue and that if I don't pay they will hand it over to lawyers. This was then followed by a week of harassment from them as they were following up on their payment. The account was for R205.
This is the first and last time I will ever use Metropolis. I was advised that they are much more affordable than other pathologists but I don't need this kind of treatment, I'm not a criminal, if you want to keep your NEW clients, don't treat them like criminals and maybe sort out your admin/billing first before attacking your clients. I think someone didn't do their job preorly and now they are trying to pin it on me, their client, by threatening me with lawyers!
I realise many months had lapsed and I didn't follow up on the account which I had not received, but don't send it months later and claim I am overdue!!!
Pathetic customer service, you harassed me and made me feel like a criminal which was completely unnecessary.
