Lancet
Paying legal fees for an acount settled in June

Health & Medicine

In May 2012 my daughter was admitted in Glenwood Hospital and Lancet did some tests on her. Lancet claimed about four times to Momentum, on the first two occasions they claimed under either a wrong surname or benefiaciary code. when claiming for the third time Momentum rejected the claim saying it's older than three months. During October 2012 Momentum rejected the claim, from then to January 2013 I was not notified.

i followed in up until Momentum paid, but now Lancet want's me to paid for legal fees for an incorrectly handed over to SCS lawyers. I went for more test and now i'm paying for that account, but Lancet allocates that money to legal fees. In June this year SCS sent me a confirmation letter that Lancet has closed my file.

today i spoke to if i remember correctly Adriaan from their call Centre who told me the legal fees were still outstanding, i tried explaining what happened even insisted he checks my account, which he didn't bother, also told him i have proof from SCS, he didn't care still and he can't tell me who was supposed to closed the account from lawyers who didn't collect anything, why must i pay for non- collections??? why wasn't the account closed
