I have made a booking with the Protea hotel Kruger Gate in for Feb this year (2013). Payment was made complete in December, however unfortunately due to my husband being away on that weekend booked i had to cancel. Ive first confirmed and then submitted by refund notificationfor cancellation of this booking on January 10/01/2013. From then i have been communicating with a reservation staff my the name of Thulani. He continued giving me reason upon reason for the delay of the refund which i understood however it finally came to a point where i had to chase this coz my request seemed to be going nowhere even though i had given a suffient notice period. Finally on Thursday 24/01 Thulani had requested my card details which finally i gott right and confirmed the correct details for a refund. When processing this transaction on Friday morning on his side (25/01) instead of refunding he hadnow double debitted my account. After many follow ups, i had no choice but to accept that he had sent me proof of the transactions reversed and that the funds will reflect on Monday (28/01) which is today. However my account does not reflect those refunds.
