They don't want to pay medical bills

I went for a c section 4 may 2013 and the medical aid said they are paying for everything. When my baby was born they said he must stay in nicu for observation because he had water in his lungs. They told me that I must register him with the mediacal aid. And we did. But then the hispital phoned and told us we owed them r45000. The medical doesn't want to pay it. We paid our medical aid. It was R4650 and when they registered wikus it went up to r6700 without them telling us that the amount is increasing. And the still didn't pay the bill at eugene marais hospital. Where must we get that amount of money.
