I went for a Fitness Assessment & Health check yesterday. I am happy with the shape/condition I am in, but am not satisfied with YOU as you are the one who stipulates how many points (i.e; 4) should be measured in order to do a body fat % via skin fold.. This is completely a waste of money & effort, as all these measurements come from the upper body, and had they been done for a proper, full body 6 point check, the % would drop substantially..
Given what I've learned over the years about how DIscovery & changes the rules to suit them, I can only presume that the only reason why you didn't stipulate that a proper 6 (or more skin fold) check must be done, is because you want people to fork out more money to pay your fitness assessors, to have the lower body skin folds to be taken into account- or be forced to look FAT on paper..YOUR PAPER - the Health Measurement report states that I'm 1.7 % higher than the ideal range - I have between 14 & 17% Bodyfat all-year-round (even today), and the one time I use Discovery Medical Aid to pay for it, suddenly I'm Fat?!?
