Incorrect allocation of claim

Health & Medicine

I have queried a claim for 19 July (Da Silva). This amount has contributed towards our Allied professional limit. This claim however is for a child who has been registered on the extender benefit for Autism Spectrum Disorder and according to Discovery: "Claims for the specified allied, therapeutic and psychology healthcare professionals will not count towards your annual Allied, Therapeutic and Psychology Benefit Limit from your date of registration on the benefit."

I have queried this with [Email Removed] but the reply does not make sense. I think the person replying is confusing my two children, one has been approved for 12 additional psychology sessions and the other is on the Autism extender benefit which I believe does not limit the number of sessions.

There is no point in trying to reply to the email or phone the call centre as you can never deal with the same person twice and have to start explaining from the beginning.

Please can someone explain (a) why this claim accrued towards the Allied limit and (b) why there is a limit for my son's sessions?

The original query reference was: 2976143941
